Registry Staff
		Shelly is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, with her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis on Early Childhood. She has been in the field of ECE for over 15 years working in a variety of capacities ranging from being a teacher’s aid in licensed child care settings and before/after school programs; to being a Director of a local licensed preschool; to coordinating a number of ECE related programs. In addition to managing the Registry, Shelly also stays involved with the ECE community on a statewide basis through her collaboration and active membership with many professional organizations and committees aimed at raising the formal education and status of professionals working in the field of ECE. She is looking forward to a future where those doing the most important work of caring for and educating young children receive the recognition they deserve!

		Stephanie has been an integral part of the Registry staff since June 2004. From answering phones and opening mail, to database design and community outreach, she has learned that perseverance in both the mundane and arduous are what make a program successful. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Spanish from the University of Nevada, Reno and received her first taste of Early Childhood while volunteering at a Sala Cuna (preschool) for at-risk families in Santiago, Chile - her greatest challenge while studying abroad! She currently holds a position on the Reno Association for the Education of Young Children Board and is very excited to be part of a system that supports the professional growth and development of the early childhood workforce.
